Get involved in supporting namewee. Simply save this song in your mobile phone and spread the news to those Ah Pek in coffee house, your mom in the kitchen, your father in the office, your girlfriend on her bed, your neighbor you don't know who is it all the while, anyone you meet. To Chinese, discuss with your Malay & Tamil friends; to Malays who support, help your friends to understand namewee.

WHY you need to place this song in your mobile phone? I think you know the answer very well, because Malaysia's broadband internet penetration rate now is only 1-7.6%! Which means there are still loooooooots of Malaysian out there haven't heard of this song before, so get involved NOW! You know what you can do with your Bluetooth now ;)

Negaraku-ku versi Bahasa Malaysia

Negaraku-ku

Negaraku Negarakuku
Negaraku Negarakuku
Negaraku Negarakuku

Saya cintai negara saya
Ada negara baru ada keluarga
Ada keluarga baru ada saya
Berdiri di sini nyanyi lagu untuk anda
Jangan takut saya
Biarpun tiap tiap kali saya cakap kasar

Laguku bagai durian yang berduri keras
Terpulang kepada anda
Berani tak buka mata
Lihat isi sebenarnya
Bau busuk ataupun bau wangi
Terpulang kepada hidung anda

Polis kita panggil mata
Sebab mata mereka amat tajam
Tahun baru mereka rajin bekerja
Pegang pen tulis saman tapi buat buat saja
Mereka dahaga perlu minum teh la
Kopi O nak tambah gula tak
Kalau tambah gula mulutnya manis senyum sama anda
Bila nak pergi dia ucapkan TaTa

Negaraku tanah tumpahnya darahku
Rakyat hidup
Bersatu dan maju

Gejala ini tak perlu ubah
Tak perlu diperbaiki juga
Polis dan rakat bekerjasama
Secawan kopi hubungan kita erat
Aku suka sangat
Balik rumah takkan kena saman
(jika tidak) Bapaku tentu akan tulan (marah)
Saya tentu kena rotan
Tiada kereta bagi aku bawa
Macam mana
Kali ini teruk la
Tiada kereta macam mana aku keluar bersuka ria
Tiada kereta macam mana aku berasmara ka luar
Tiada kereta macam mana aku pergi tengok ah kua (pondan)

Negara ni saya suka sangat
Pukul lima pagi morning call saya
Ada kala nyanyi bersama-sama
Bila dengar bagai duet lagu cinta
Suara putar-putar macam R&B saja

Jangan salah kerajaan hanya jaga bumiputera
Jangan ingat standard mereka aneh sangat
Sebab sebaliknya menonjol kita hebat
Anak tak dimanja baru boleh berdikar
Sebab tu kau lihat orang belum putus susu masih ada

Rahmat Bahgia
Tuhan kurniakan
Raja kita selamat bertahta

Rahmat bahgia
Tuhan kurniakan

Raja kita selamat bertahta

Kerani jabatan kerajaan lagi hebat
Mereka buat apa-apa pun lambat-lambat
Biar orang tunggu sampai cau lelai (bau busuk, marah)
Mood mereka masih relax saja
Ada kala ambil kuih keluar juga
Dia makan kuihnya
Kau baris tunggu saja
Biar kau marah dia cau lelai pun tak apa
Sebab guard sedang mimpi ka sebelah
Dia takkan peduli kau punya

Mereka tutup kepala
Jalan perlahan-lahan melintas jalan
Kau yang pandu mesti beri laluan
Yang paling penting hidup gembira
Yang paling penting hidup selesa
Jangan macam orang Cina
Hari hari sibuk saja
Begitu susah payah
Semangat ini kita hormat
Sebab itulah gaya hidup mereka

Gaya hidup~

Lagu ini aku cakap baik sahaja
Kau yang tulan (marah) saya sekarang mesti suka saya
Dunia sungguh aman
Penuh dengan harapan
Tiada orang cedera
Tiada huru-hara
Kau sungguh suci
Kau sungguh anggun
Tahi bau wangi
Tak maki-maki kasar
Kamu sumua paling high class
Tiap-tiap hari romantic saja
Dengar lagu Michael & Victor
Tapi mereka dah pergi Taiwan

Pelajar sekolah Cina habis sekolah
Nak masuk local U sangat susah
Tapi kita tak patut tulan (marah)
Sebab ini projek kerajaan yang gagah
Mau kita pergi sini sana
Cari harapan ka luar negara
Menimba ilmu balik membangun negara
Projek ini begitu sempurna
Tiada komen lagi dah
Rata-rata dunia ni ada anak Malaysia
Macam lari mala petaka
Memang syoknya

2007 Tahun Lawat Malaysia
Budaya Cina dibawa keluar buat promosi jua
(Tapi) Sekolah Cina kerajaan langsung tak kisah
Sijil dibuang ke dalam longkang
Macamlah saya pergi ke Taiwan selepas habis sekolah
Menimba ilmu balik membangun negara
Diri ka tepi jalan Taipei main guitar saya
Mulut saya nyanyi tetap

Rahmat bahgia
Tuhan kurniakan
Raja kita selamat bertahta

Sungai Buloh Leprosy Settlement Need Your Help!

Living Legacy by LIM YONG LONG

The Sungai Buloh Leprosy Settlement represents man’s triumph over the disease and is a reminder of how a group of people lived together in isolation, transcending colour and creed.

SEVENTY-seven years ago, in an isolated valley of Bukit Lagong, Sungai Buloh, Selangor, a group of Malays, Chinese, Indians and Eurasians set up a contained community. They lived in harmony and interdependently of each other.

They were leprosy patients, sent to live in the Sungai Buloh Leprosy Settlement, where they found hope and dignity. It was a haven that allowed them to re-define themselves as human beings and enabled them to make friends and sustain friendships, express their feelings, form families and be individuals who contributed to their own community.

From the time it was built in 1930, Sungai Buloh was one of the biggest leprosy settlements in the-then British Empire, and the second biggest in the world. It was equipped with advanced facilities and planned following the principals of a garden city. It was a pioneer project based on the “enlightened policy” of segregating leprosy patients in a self-supporting community. Over the years, the settlement also became a research centre for leprosy.

The Power of Web2.0

Former deputy prime minister and finance minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim post a blog with the title Kenyataan Media: Pendedahan Skandal Video Perbualan VK Lingham at Anwar Ibrahim recently. He also post the video on YouTube.

Have Malaysian found their way escape from government controlled mass media to take some fresh air outside? I am trying to think this deeply through the Web2.0 perspective. Malaysian bloggers and YouTubers are HOT nowadays, they always call themselves "The Truth Speaker", Meng Chee has a become an icon for it. With Meng Chee's Negarakuku singing all around the country after he was being utilized by political parties for their own politic sake, it does coherence the people who are looking forward for a brighter future of Malaysia too.

Many also took a chance to do some refection on Malaysia's development after 50 years of independent. More and more facts, including the real Independence Day is actually on 16 September 1963, are popping out recently on the internet, blog and dug by bloggers and anonymous. When government representatives are calling bloggers as liars through mass media, they become more and more like the boy who cried wolf.

So, are bloggers all good people? NO! Bloggers are just like you and me and she and he, we are all creation of God; human beings, we are angles and devils; we do charity and we tell white lies too. The lesson to learn is morality, in other words, your justification standard, how mature you are. As anak-anak bangsa Malaysia's intelligence are growing (thanks to Tun Mahathir who introduced 3M education, Membaca, Menulis dan Mengira, we read and post blogs now), the nation were not stupid like what their governments thought.

My Merdeka ;)

I wake up early in the morning today and sing Negaraku :) Happy Merdeka Day to you & me! I made myself a home video, a video-log for this special 50th birthday. It is quite meaningful moment for myself. Well, for quite couple of reasons you know, like doing reflection on the meaning of Merdeka, about namewee incident and racial problems and politics and so on. And ya, for meeting some nice people while blogging on namewee issue.

Oh, and of cause, I did remember to wear my black shirt today as well ;)

p/s: Due to YouTube is currently down for uploading video, I use DivShare. (I love their service!)
p/p/s: You got a video-log on Merdeka too? Share with me ya!

A Warning to Namawee by Terrorist?

A YouTube video was uploaded with the title "warning to namawee" by tolaba4. I feel that this video is more even insulting Islam and the name of Allah. I believe that making a direct link between Islam and terrorism is totally a propaganda. We love Malaysia, for peace sake, we should kick away those terrorist.

p/s: Please make a police report after you watch the clip.

M for Merdeka

V: Good evening, London. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of every day routine - the security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition. I enjoy them as much as any bloke. But in the spirit of commemoration, thereby those important events of the past usually associated with someone's death or the end of some awful bloody struggle, a celebration of a nice holiday, I thought we could mark this November the 5th, a day that is sadly no longer remembered, by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are of course those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and men with guns will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now high chancellor, Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence. Last night I destroyed the Old Bailey, to remind this country of what it has forgotten. More than four hundred years ago a great citizen wished to embed the fifth of November 31st of August forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you allow the fifth of November 31st of August to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of November 31st of August that shall never, ever be forgot. People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people. Strength through unity, unity through faith! I am V. At last you know the truth. You're stunned, I know. It's hard to believe, isn't it, that beneath this wrinkled, well-fed exterior there lies a dangerous killing machine with a fetish for Fawkesian masks. Vive la revolution!

An Inconvenient Truth

I can understand why namewee apologies, and I think that WE who love namewee SHOULD understand him for making this decision UNDER PRESSURE. I believe that he sincerely apologies for hurting some Malaysians feel offended by his work.

The inconvenient truth is Prime Minister said the law would still have to take its course as namewee could be charged under the National Anthem Act 1968 with disrespecting and lowering the prestige of the Negaraku.

More inconvenient truths are...
BUKTI PERTAMA – Malaysia BUKAN 50 tahun. Hari Malaysia BUKAN 31 Ogos. Projek Malaysia bermula pada 16 September 1963. Sila google untuk kesahihan fakta ini. Jika TIDAK percaya sila pergi tanya Mat Sabah atau Minah Serawak. Dua wilayah ini memasuki Malaysia pada 16 September 1963 BUKAN 31 Ogos 1957.

BUKTI KEDUA - Tuntutan MERDEKA adalah projek dan tuntutan Persatuan Kebangsaan Melayu Malaya (PKMM). Merdeka BUKAN projek United Malay National Organisations. Projek United Malay Organisations ialah – HIDUP Melayu. ( macamlah Tanah Melayu tak ada oksigen)

BUKTI KE TIGA - Kemerdekaan di capai tanpa tumpah darah. BOHONG.

Beliau yang menulis muzik lagu Memula Moon a.k.a Negara-ku.

Here I give you the last inconvenient truth which is inconvenient to some of THEM out there, we shall follow the patriotic spirit & hold tight with our right for freedom to speech. No one can control our way of expressing patriot and the way we celebrate Merdaka! Don't let THEM control us.

The maxim 'hear no EVIL, speak no EVIL, see no EVIL, do no EVIL'
does not mean not to be involve at all, but 'hear no THEM, speak no THEM, see no THEM, do no THEM'! We should always follow the Truth. Thus, I call you to...
Hear the TRUTH,
Speak the TRUTH,
See the TRUTH,
Do the TRUTH'
Download the Negarakuku song and spread it out NOW. Don't forget to discuss with your friends, as this is the way we understand our own prejudice and help others know more about ourselves, our life, culture, and ethnic. You can get some readings about prejudice here.

We have took 50 years to understand ONE TRUTH: Others just don't understand us!

Malays don't understand Tamils,
Malays don't understand Chinese.

Chinese don't understand Malays,
Chinese don't understand Tamils.

Tamils don't understand Chinese,
Tamils don't understand Malays.

And Kadazan, Iban, many many more...
We just don't understand.

W-H-Y?

You can get your answer by simply discussing with your friend.

Merdeka Statement

Merdeka Statement
In the struggles towards forging a national identity, great efforts have been taken to strengthen national unity in the country, which must be supported by all. However, recently the state of unity has been fraying at the edges. Ethnic, linguistic and religious divides have deepened, causing genuine pain and hurt to many in our nation. Such a fragile state of unity should not have happened after 50 years of nation building. New sustained efforts are urgently needed to rebuild our National Unity.

WE BELIEVE THAT:
  • The current National Unity Advisory Panel, under the Jabatan Perpaduan Negara & Integrasi Nasional, should be made an independent National Unity & Integration Commission, empowered to review legislation, policies and practices that impede on national unity, investigate complaints of ethnic, linguistic and religious discrimination both in Government and the private sector; made answerable to Parliament and chaired by reputable and credible individuals; and include a Truth and Reconciliation Committee, which will serve to grapple with key incidents of conflict and hurt in the country’s past, which is an important and necessary part of the healing of the national psyche, in the road towards a peaceful shared future.
  • All new policies should be tested against the tenets of the Federal Constitution and the Rukunegara - no policy formulated should becontrary to the spirit of the values contained therein.
  • An independent and transparent National Consultative Council on Vision 2020 should be established immediately, for representatives from the Government, private sector businesses, academia, media and civil society to discuss progress towards Vision 2020 and beyond.
  • A National Research Institute on Ethnic Relations should be established as a centre that co-ordinates in-depth research on Ethnic Relations and Culture, compiling stories of inter-ethnic cooperation and mutual assistance.
  • Public-Private Partnerships to strengthen National Unity should be launched at all levels and in all sectors.
  • Islam is the religion of the Federation of Malaysia as clearly set out in the Federal Constitution. The freedom to profess and practice the religions of choice as enshrined in the Federal Constitution does not threaten this position. The Government has committed itself to the principles of freedom, protection of minorities and universal values, values of which must be continuously and relentlessly upheld for the sake of all Malaysians.
  • Any extremism in the form and shape of ethnicity, religion and gender should not be propagated or tolerated at any level.
WE BELIEVE THAT THE FEDERAL CONSTITUTION AS SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND IS THE PRIMARY REFERENCE POINT FOR STRENGTHENING NATIONAL UNITY, AND THAT ALL NATIONAL POLICIES SHOULD BE TESTED AGAINST ITS CENTRAL TENETS.
